Vancouver Area Council Urban Transit Speaker Meeting
CITT Vancouver Area Council is excited to present Doug Kelsey who will give us his perspective on this speaker topic:  Urban Transit – Past, Present and into the Future.  His unique experiences will help to assist and inform all of us regardless of current job role or whether we actively use transit ourselves.

Doug Kelsey has been involved with several private sector and many major transit companies over his career. These include President/ CEO of West Coast Express, President of Skytrain, President of Coast Mountain Bus line, Chief Operating Officer of Translink and most recently Chief Operating Officer of the Portland, OR Regional Transit Authority.


Prior to these positions Doug was Head of National Planning and Strategy at Shell Canada (managing over 5,000 outlets) and in a similar position with Starbuck’s. 

There will be a networking, dinner buffet prior to our speaker start at 6:30.
