CITT Alberta Area Council will be holding a tour at the STARS Foundation in Edmonton on Thursday, March 21, 2019.
STARS is an emergency medical service that provides transportation and critical care services to patients who might not otherwise have access to timely, vital care. We reach remote worksites and secluded rural areas, and even assist with transport to major medical centres when community hospitals don’t have the tools, equipment or expertise to handle cases of severe illness or trauma.
STARS averages 8 missions every day throughout Western Canada. We respond where we’re needed most — that means vehicle collisions, medical emergencies, traumatic events, or even industrial, workplace, or agriculture related incidents. We fly out of six bases across Western Canada: Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg.

Tour Start Time: Between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Please arrive ½ hour prior to event for check-in

Parking Restrictions: Guests can park in any of the spots marked for STARS
PPE Requirements: Close toed shoes are required when entering the hangar.
Tour Length: 90 minutes.
