The CITT Toronto Area Council (TAC) will be holding elections on Thursday, October 3rd at 6:30pm for a new council. All positions are up for election. Please join us for this important event.
The significance of TAC has grown tremendously in size and influence over the last several years thanks to the efforts of a dedicated Executive Team and you, our active members. And that effort needs to continue. So, if you have been looking for a way to give back to the logistics community while only dedicating a few hours per month, this may be the perfect time for you to run for Council! And the networking opportunities become amplified as you take an active part in the community.
On the evening of October 3rd all candidates will have the opportunity to present themselves, and you will have an opportunity to vote for your 2018 Executive Team. Voting will take place at the Election Meeting. However, for those unable to attend in person, they can participate by email ballot. Those wishing to use this process must apply by October 1st in order to be validated as a CITT member in good standing. Please send your application to Grace DiMarca: Grace.DiMarca@kuehne-nagel.com who will act as the returning officer. (All rulings, decisions for confirmed candidates, decisions for voter eligibility and ballot counting will be made by the returning officer. )

Time: Arrive at 6:00pm for networking and refreshments. Meeting begins at 6:30pm sharp.
VOTING
In order to apply for candidacy interested participants must have the ability to serve a one year term, work well as part of a team, contribute reasoned opinions and accept and support decisions reached by the council. They must be available to attend meetings and events as a participant and a facilitator. Send your nomination form with one seconder to Grace.DiMarca@kuehne-nagel.com. A short bio will also be required.
Final vote tally will take place during the Election Meeting. Winners for all positions on the TAC executive will be announced by October 9th, 2019.
